I am building a timber pergola and need clear, build-ready drawings that I can hand straight to my saw. The goal is to receive AutoCAD files that show the structure in top, side and isometric views, each dimensioned so there is no guesswork when I start cutting.
Once the overall set is approved, I would like a second file (or separate layout) that acts as a full-scale cutting template for every unique piece—post, beam, brace and rafter—so I can print, trace and get straight to the saw without re-measuring.
Deliverables
• AutoCAD DWG and PDF sheets with top, side and isometric views, fully dimensioned.
• A companion template drawing for each part, laid out at 1:1 scale and clearly labelled.
If you are comfortable working in AutoCAD and can turn around accurate, tidy drawings quickly, I’d love to get this moving. Accuracy in the dimensions is the key acceptance criterion; everything must line up when transferred to timber.
