Summary
At Design Shopp, we don’t just create visually stunning websites and marketing campaigns—we build meaningful connections, embrace challenges, and foster a culture of innovation.
Our international team spans Canada, France, Brazil and the Philippines, with our creative heart in Montreal. We value collaboration, accountability, curiosity, and people who are motivated to continuously improve.
We’re looking for an experienced Performance Marketing Specialist to help manage, optimize, and grow paid digital campaigns across multiple client accounts.
This is not simply a campaign monitoring role. We’re looking for someone who can analyze performance, identify opportunities, recommend next steps, and take ownership of results.
What We Really Value
Performance & Results Mindset
You look beyond impressions, clicks, and surface-level metrics. You understand how campaigns contribute to leads, conversions, revenue, CPA, ROAS, and overall client objectives.
Analytical Thinking
You can interpret campaign data, recognize trends, diagnose performance issues, and turn numbers into clear recommendations and actionable next steps.
Proactive Optimization
You don't wait for someone to tell you what to optimize. You regularly review campaigns, identify opportunities, test improvements, and communicate what you are doing and why.
Ownership & Accountability
You take responsibility for the accounts and tasks assigned to you. You monitor budgets, campaign health, tracking, disapproved ads, and performance—and raise concerns before they become bigger problems.
Clear Communication
You can clearly explain performance, recommendations, and challenges to project managers and other team members. You communicate early when something requires attention.
Collaborative Mindset
You work well with project managers, coordinators, designers, developers, SEO specialists, and other marketers to achieve client goals.
What We're Looking For
We are especially interested in someone who can look at a campaign report and go beyond:
"Conversions increased by 15% this month."
We want someone who can explain:
Why did conversions increase? What changed? What worked? What didn't? What opportunities do you see? What should we test or change next month?
We value specialists who bring recommendations and solutions—not just reports and numbers.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and optimize Google Ads, Meta Ads, Pinterest Ads, TikTok Ads, Reddit Ads, and LinkedIn Ads campaigns across multiple client accounts
Launch and manage Search, Display, Performance Max, Shopping, Video, Demand Gen, and paid social campaigns
Conduct keyword, audience, competitor, and campaign research
Monitor campaign budgets and ensure accounts remain within approved monthly spending
Regularly review campaign performance and make optimization decisions
Analyze key metrics including CTR, CPC, CPM, conversion rate, CPA, CPL, ROAS, and conversion value
Identify underperforming campaigns, ads, audiences, keywords, and placements
Recommend opportunities to improve campaign performance and efficiency
Conduct ongoing A/B testing of ads, audiences, bidding strategies, landing pages, and campaign structures
Review search terms, negative keywords, targeting, placements, and audience performance
Monitor and address disapproved ads, policy issues, tracking problems, and other account health concerns
Support conversion tracking implementation and troubleshooting using Google Tag Manager and GA4
Verify that campaign conversions and key events are tracking accurately
Review landing-page performance and identify opportunities to improve conversion rates
Prepare clear performance reports that explain not only what happened, but why it happened and what should be done next
Provide actionable recommendations, opportunities, and next steps during reporting
Stay informed about platform updates, advertising best practices, and new optimization opportunities
Qualifications
2+ years of hands-on experience managing paid digital advertising campaigns
Strong working knowledge of Google Ads and Meta Ads
Experience with LinkedIn Campaign Manager is strongly preferred
