Pediatric Education App for Parents

I want to turn key paediatric guidance into a smartphone experience that helps parents stay on top of their child’s growth and wellbeing. The app’s core purpose is Educational, so every screen should teach, reassure or prompt sensible next steps rather than entertain or manage medical records.

Primary audiences are parents and carers of children from birth to roughly twelve years old, so navigation, colours and language must feel welcoming to adults while still reflecting a kid-friendly theme.

Content requirements
• Developmental milestones – an easy way for parents to check what to expect at each stage and log observations.
• Parenting tips – bite-sized, evidence-based suggestions that appear context-ually (e.g. “4-month tummy-time ideas”).
• Health and safety information – quick-access guides for common concerns such as fever, choking prevention or safe sleep.

I’ll supply the raw text; you’ll shape it into an intuitive flow, build the UI and hook up a lightweight local database (or another solution you propose) so content can be updated without a full release.

Acceptance criteria
• Smooth, bug-free build that opens in under three seconds on a standard mid-range device.
• Clear sectioning for Milestones, Tips and Safety, each browsable offline.
• Simple onboarding that asks only the child’s age and name to personalise reminders.
• App store–ready packages plus source code and brief documentation so my team can maintain future updates.
