I have a collection of text-based PDFs—every character is selectable and copyable— that I need brought together into a single, fully editable Word document. The priority is to keep the original text and paragraph formatting intact; headings, indents, font styles, and line breaks should look just as they do in the source files. Page layout extras such as headers, footers, tables, or images are not critical, so you can focus your attention on getting the textual flow right.
You may use whatever workflow you prefer—Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Word’s built-in PDF import, or another reliable converter—as long as the final output meets the following acceptance criteria:
• One consolidated .docx file containing all source PDFs in the original order
• Matching text and paragraph formatting for every page
• No stray line breaks, missing characters, or encoding errors
Send the completed Word file back to me, and I’ll handle the rest. Let me know if anything is unclear before you start.
