PDF-to-Word Text Extraction

I have one (or possibly several) PDFs whose textual content I need transferred into an editable Word file so I can run further analyses on it. Accuracy matters more than speed: every word needs to come across exactly as it appears in the source, and the document should keep the same fonts, bolding, italics, and other visual cues that help me recognise headings or emphasis.

You do not need to reproduce images or tables—only the text—and you’re free to use Adobe Acrobat, ABBYY, OCR tools, or any other software that helps you deliver a clean, styled .docx file.

Acceptance criteria:
• All text from each PDF page appears in the Word document.
• Original fonts, sizes, paragraph spacing, and character styling are mirrored as closely as Word allows.
• The resulting file is fully editable (no text embedded as images) and free of OCR errors.
