PDF-to-Word Conversion

I have a batch of PDFs—some are text-based files with selectable text, others are straight scans—that I need converted into Word documents. All of the content is in English. The goal is simple: extract the text accurately, preserve only the basic formatting (paragraph breaks, headings, bold/italic where it obviously appears), and leave out any elaborate layout reconstruction. Tables or images don’t have to be reproduced unless they naturally fall into place during conversion.

Because the set includes scanned pages, reliable OCR is essential. Whether you prefer Adobe Acrobat, ABBYY FineReader, or another dependable tool is up to you; what matters is a clean, editable .docx for every source file.
