I have a PDF made up entirely of text that I need converted into an editable Word document (.docx). While most of the copy can come straight across, it’s important that the existing headings and sub-headings remain styled as true Word heading levels so they can be picked up by the navigation pane and any future TOC I generate.
Equally important is keeping the original line-spacing so the overall flow of the pages still feels the same once it is in Word. Margins, bullet styles, and other layout elements are not critical—only the two points above.
Feel free to use Adobe Acrobat, MS Word’s import tools, or any other conversion software, but please give the file a quick manual pass afterward to catch stray line breaks or weird characters that often slip through automated conversions.
Deliverable: a clean, fully editable .docx file that mirrors the source PDF’s hierarchy and line spacing, ready for me to revise immediately.
