PDF Text Entry & Conversion

I have a constant stream of text-based PDFs that must be transferred quickly and accurately into my digital records. For most files you can type straight from the PDF, but whenever a document is scanned or locked you will first convert it to an editable format before completing the entry. I will specify which pages or fields I need captured, share the target spreadsheet or online form, and set clear daily or weekly volumes so you always know the workload in advance.

Accuracy is everything—spelling, punctuation, and line order must match the source—and I spot-check entries regularly. Experience with Adobe Acrobat, ABBYY FineReader, or any reliable OCR tool will make the occasional conversions painless, though you may use whichever software you prefer as long as the final text is clean.

When you finish a batch, send me the updated file along with a brief note confirming the page range covered and any issues you encountered (illegible text, missing pages, etc.). Consistent communication, a fast internet connection, and respect for the confidentiality of the documents are essential.
