I have a set of menu PDFs that need very minor text updates—nothing more. The layout, imagery, colours, font sizes, bleed settings, trim marks, everything else must stay exactly as it is now; only the specified wording changes.
If you are providing a proposal, indicate whether you have Acrobat with PitStop or Illustrator.
Because the files are locked down with embedded pre-press settings, you’ll need either:
• Adobe Acrobat with the Enfocus PitStop plugin, or
• Adobe Illustrator (current version) with the skills to open, edit, and re-save without disturbing any existing production settings.
Once you receive the PDFs, I’ll supply a simple change sheet that lists each line of text to be replaced. After you apply those edits, I’ll check the returned PDFs against press-ready specs; if nothing has shifted and the text is correct, the job is complete.
Deliverable: press-ready PDFs that are pixel-for-pixel identical to the originals except for the approved text updates.
