PDF Data Preservation to Excel

I have prepared a brief demonstration that takes a table-rich PDF and rebuilds it in Excel while putting data preservation front and center. In the workbook you will see every numerical value carried over exactly as it appears in the source file—no rounding, truncation, or loss of precision. I also retain the original column headers so the sheet remains immediately readable, and I pay special attention to keeping date formats intact so they still behave correctly for filtering or further calculations.
To make the conversion process transparent, I add a separate “Review Log” sheet. Any figure that looked ambiguous during extraction is flagged there alongside a short note, making later verification fast and straightforward.
What you’ll get:
• An .xlsx file containing the fully reconstructed table with preserved numbers and dates
• A dedicated Review Log sheet that records any unclear entries for quick follow-up
Use the sample to evaluate my workflow or as a template for your own larger PDF-to-Excel projects.
