Title: Local Australian Pattern Maker Needed – Reverse Engineering & Stretch Fabric (IP Assignment Required)
Description:
I am launching an Australian online boutique for limited-edition equestrian helmet silks. I am looking for a professional, Australia-based apparel pattern maker to reverse-engineer two physical sizes of existing helmet silks. I will mail the original physical samples directly to you.
Requirements:
• Must be located in Australia (to facilitate secure domestic mailing of samples).
• Expert knowledge in stretch fabrics (Lycra/Spandex) and calculating stretch reduction percentages so the silks fit securely on a riding helmet.
• Deliverable must be production-ready digital patterns (DXF/AAMA or Optitex/Gerber formats) along with basic fabric specs.
Intellectual Property & Ownership Condition:
Please note that this is a "Work for Hire" contract. Full, exclusive intellectual property (IP), copyright, and ownership rights of the final digital files, grading specs, and pattern designs will belong entirely to me upon final payment. The freelancer must agree to assign all rights and will not retain any ownership or commercial claims over the patterns.
Please provide examples of stretch garments, activewear, or swimwear patterns you have drafted previously.
