Patent Prior-Art Research Specialist Needed

We are seeking an experienced individual Patent Prior-Art Researcher / Patent Analyst for a one-time, fixed-price research assignment.

Our internal team has already completed substantial prior-art research. We need an independent specialist to investigate one narrowly defined technical gap and identify potentially overlooked prior art.

Required expertise:
- Patent prior-art, novelty and invalidity searches
- Claim-level mapping and patent family analysis
- CPC/IPC classification and citation searching
- US, WO/PCT, EP, KR, JP and CN patent literature
- AI, robotics, industrial control, IoT, automotive or security technologies
- Professional patent database experience preferred (Derwent, Orbit, PatSeer, PatSnap or equivalent)

Deliverables:
- Source-supported research report
- Relevant patent references and exact source links
- Claim-element mapping with paragraph and figure references
- Priority and patent-family verification
- Documented search strategy and limitations

Contract Conditions:
- Fixed-price: CAD $180 total (Canadian dollars, NOT USD)
- One-time assignment, not hourly employment
- Individual freelancers only; no agencies
- No patent drafting or legal representation
- Confidential technical materials provided only after appropriate NDA arrangements
- No unauthorized subcontracting or external AI uploads
