I’m expanding our product team and need a backend specialist who can dive straight into our Python codebase, extend our microservices, and keep our PostgreSQL layer healthy and performant. The role is fully remote, part-time, and highly collaborative; daily stand-ups, pair sessions, and code reviews are the norm, so you must be comfortable communicating fluently in Portuguese or Spanish.
Our current stack centres on Python 3.x, FastAPI, Celery, Docker and Kubernetes, all wired up to PostgreSQL. Your day-to-day work will involve designing and refining REST / gRPC endpoints, improving test coverage, optimising SQL queries, and ensuring smooth CI/CD releases. Every two-week sprint you’ll own a set of stories, ship merge-ready PRs, document your changes, and jump into peer reviews to keep our overall quality bar high.
If you enjoy clean, well-tested Python, microservice architectures, and close teamwork, I’d love to discuss the first sprint and see how we can work together.
