I run several small online stores that serve customers across the United States and Canada, and I need ongoing, part-time help from a web developer to keep them running smoothly and growing.

Here is what the work involves:

• Website creation – building new, conversion-focused e-commerce sites from the ground up, setting up products, payment gateways, shipping rules, and all essential security measures.

• Website maintenance – monitoring uptime, fixing bugs, applying security patches, and ensuring the storefront stays fast and reliable for both mobile and desktop shoppers.

• Website upgrades – adding new features and sections as the business evolves. Right now I know I will need a contact form and a projects showcase area integrated into the store so visitors can reach out easily and see recent work we’ve shipped.

The tech stack is flexible; past projects have used Shopify, WooCommerce, and custom React/Node builds, so experience with any of those (or similar modern frameworks) will be useful. Clear, well-commented code, SEO-ready markup, and version control through Git are all expected.

Most communication will happen during North American business hours by Slack or Zoom, though the actual coding can be done on your own schedule as long as deadlines are met. If steady part-time work maintaining and enhancing real e-commerce stores sounds like a good fit, let’s connect so I can share the first set of tasks.
