I have a rough concept for a stop-motion festival opener and need it shaped into a practical, step-by-step storyboard that I can take straight to the craft table. The finished plan has to fit the paper cut-out style completely—flat characters, layered paper props, textured backgrounds, and simple, achievable movements that won’t overwhelm a one-person animation setup.

Scope

• 30-second warm, handmade intro set on a craft table sprinkled with scissors, scraps, and textured paper—this sequence will introduce the festival’s name and logo in a charming, tactile way.
• Short category bumpers running 5–10 seconds each, all keeping the same craft-table world so everything feels cohesive.
• 30-second outro that circles back to the tabletop scene and closes with the festival branding, ready to fade to black or transition to live footage.

What I need in the storyboard

1. Thumbnail frames with clear visual cues for every shot.
2. Written notes describing camera angle, focal distance (static, pan, tilt, or simple push-in), and any paper element movement—e.g., hinge-flip for a character arm, sliding layer for parallax.
3. Callouts for transitions that are practical in cut-out animation—no multi-plane rigs or tricky rigs, just swaps, slides, and stop-frame replacements.
4. Timing markers so I can keep each segment on-beat and within length.
5. A concise asset list per scene (characters, props, backgrounds) to guide my paper cutting session.

Acceptance criteria

• Every scene must be doable with flat paper on a single tabletop set.
• No shot should require more than two simultaneous moving pieces.
• All timing adds up to 30 s intro + each 5–10 s bumper + 30 s outro.
• Deliverable: PDF or high-resolution JPEG storyboard panels, clearly labelled and easy to print.
