Package JavaScript Into Desktop App or Desktop executable file software for Windows and Mac

I already have working JavaScript code; now I need it bundled into a proper desktop application that installs cleanly on both Windows and macOS. I am not looking for new features or a redesigned interface—just the same behaviour the code currently shows in the browser, but delivered as a native-feeling executable.

Any modern cross-platform wrapper such as Electron, NW.js, Tauri, or an approach you prefer is acceptable as long as it keeps performance solid and the final build size reasonable.

What I expect from you:
• A signed installer for current Windows (x64) and a signed .dmg or .pkg for macOS (Intel and Apple Silicon if possible).
• A repeatable build script or clear step-by-step instructions so I can generate future versions myself.
• Confirmation that the app launches, runs my JavaScript exactly as it does now, and quits without errors on both operating systems.

If you’ve done similar packaging work before, especially with cross-platform frameworks, that experience will be a plus. I’m ready to share the code and start as soon as you confirm the approach you’d take and any quick questions you have.
