I’m handing you an STL file that looks fine on screen but fails when it reaches the printer. Walls crack, dimensions drift, and the surface finish never quite matches the concept. I need the design rebuilt from the ground up so the next time I hit “Print” it comes off the bed true to size and ready for use.
The priority is accuracy: critical dimensions must hold within typical FDM tolerances and mating parts need to slot together without post-processing. At the same time, I’d like the overall look refined and the structure strengthened so it stands up to everyday handling.
You are free to work in Fusion 360, SolidWorks, Blender, or any professional CAD that exports clean, watertight geometry. When you’re done I want to drop the file into Cura/PrusaSlicer, generate supports, and run it without further edits.
Deliverables
• A print-ready, manifold STL (plus the native source file for future tweaks)
• Brief notes on recommended print settings or orientation if they matter to strength or finish
I’ll test the first iteration on my printer and report back; if it fits and measures as designed, we’re done.
