# Freelance Organic Marketing Manager – Reddit, X (Twitter) & LinkedIn
We are looking for a **freelance organic marketing specialist** to help grow **DevScribe**, a developer-focused desktop workspace for software engineers and architects.
DevScribe brings documentation, system design diagrams, API testing, database tools, code execution, terminal workflows, Docker, and GitHub integration into one developer workspace.
## What You'll Do
Your primary responsibility will be to **find relevant developer communities and users and create genuine organic distribution opportunities** for DevScribe.
### Reddit
* Identify relevant subreddits where DevScribe can genuinely provide value.
* Find active users, creators, and community members who may be interested in DevScribe.
* Build relationships with Reddit users and explore paid/organic collaboration opportunities where appropriate.
* Get DevScribe mentioned through useful posts, discussions, tutorials, workflows, and developer experiences.
* Participate in discussions rather than simply dropping promotional links.
* Help identify content formats that work well in developer communities.
### X (Twitter)
* Identify developers, tech creators, indie hackers, software engineers, and relevant communities.
* Build relationships with accounts that have an audience relevant to DevScribe.
* Explore collaboration opportunities such as posts, threads, product experiences, tutorials, and recommendations.
* Help create and distribute organic content around DevScribe.
### LinkedIn
* Identify software engineers, architects, engineering managers, developer advocates, and technical creators.
* Find relevant creators/pages where DevScribe could be organically introduced.
* Build relationships and explore collaboration opportunities.
* Help distribute useful technical content rather than generic promotional posts.
## Important: We Are Looking for Organic Growth
This is **not a traditional social media posting job**.
We want someone who can actively **find the right people and communities**, start conversations, build relationships, and create opportunities for DevScribe to be mentioned organically.
For example:
> Find a developer who regularly posts about database tools → engage with their content → start a conversation → introduce DevScribe when relevant → potentially arrange a paid collaboration or product post.
Similarly:
> Find a Reddit user who creates high-quality content for backend developers → build a relationship → collaborate on a useful post/tutorial involving DevScribe.
## Who We're Looking For
You should have:
* Experience with **Reddit, X/Twitter and LinkedIn**
* Strong understanding of developer/engineering communities
* Experience with **organic growth or community marketing**
* Ability to identify relevant creators and users
* Strong communication and outreach skills
* Ability to build genuine relationships rather than spam communities
* Understanding of software engineering, developer tools, SaaS or tech products is a strong advantage
## Bonus
It would be a big plus if you have experience with:
* Developer-focused SaaS products
* Reddit marketing
* Indie hacker communities
* Technical content marketing
* Product Hunt
* GitHub communities
* Developer influencers/creators
* Paid creator collaborations
## What We Expect
We are looking for someone who can take ownership of the process:
**Research → Find relevant users → Engage → Build relationships → Negotiate collaborations → Get content published → Measure results**
You should be comfortable experimenting and figuring out **what actually works**, rather than waiting for detailed instructions for every post.
## About DevScribe
DevScribe is a developer-focused desktop workspace built for software engineers and architects.
It combines tools such as:
* Technical documentation
* System design & diagrams
* API testing
* SQL & NoSQL databases
* Code execution
* Terminal
* Docker
* GitHub integration
* Developer workflows
DevScribe is currently growing organically through developer communities and has users across multiple countries.
## How to Apply
Please include:
1. Your experience with Reddit, X/Twitter and LinkedIn organic marketing.
2. Examples of developer/tech communities or creators you have worked with.
3. Any successful organic campaigns you have managed.
4. How you would approach getting DevScribe in front of software engineers.
**We are more interested in your ability to find the right users and create genuine distribution opportunities than simply your follower count.**
