All of my order status information still lives in handwritten logbooks. I’m ready to move it into a clean, searchable Google Sheet and keep it that way. Each week, I will send scans of the new pages; you’ll key them in and return an updated master file.
For every line item I need four fields captured exactly as they appear: Order ID, current status, full customer details, and product details. Consistent formatting and zero transcription errors are essential because the file feeds our internal reports and customer notifications.
Deliverables:
• Initial digitization of the existing paper backlog in a single Google Sheet with consistent layout.
• Weekly updates of new orders delivered every Friday.
• Clear notes highlighting illegible or missing information.
Formatting Guidelines:
• Data should be properly aligned under respective field headings.
• No special characters unless specified in the data.
• Columns should remain locked to prevent accidental edits.
Acceptance Criteria:
• 100% of records provided accurately transferred.
• No duplicate entries.
• Formatting adheres to agreed-upon guidelines.
