Order Status Data Cleanup

I maintain an online database that tracks customer order status, and over time the records have become inconsistent—duplicate entries, miss-tagged statuses, stray characters, and occasional blank fields are all getting in the way of accurate reporting. I need a detail-oriented freelancer who can log in remotely and clean up these records without disrupting live operations.

You will work directly inside the web-based system, so no spreadsheets or offline tools are required. The work is strictly data cleanup: locate and merge duplicates, correct obvious typos, standardise status values to the approved list, and flag anything that looks suspicious so I can review it. Because this is an active database, please avoid changing timestamps or any fields not related to order status.

I expect you to commit a few hours each day on a part-time, flexible schedule until the backlog is clear. Communication can happen through chat or email; quick questions are welcome so mistakes don’t propagate.
