I’m fabricating a series of custom cabinets out of standard 4×8 sheets of plywood and need a professionally optimized cut list that squeezes every square inch of material, keeping off-cut waste to an absolute minimum. You’ll translate my part dimensions into clear, production-ready layouts that I can hand straight to the shop floor.
What I’ll hand over: the overall cabinet drawings with exact panel sizes, grain-direction notes, and sheet thickness.
What I need back:
• A fully optimized nesting layout for each sheet, showing labelled parts and kerf allowances.
• A consolidated parts list with quantities, finished dimensions, and any edge-band indicators.
• A quick material-yield summary so I can see waste percentages at a glance.
• Editable source file from your preferred software (CutList Plus fx, SketchUp Layout, AutoCAD, or similar) plus a printable PDF set.
Accuracy matters more than speed, but the goal is clear: minimum waste, maximum clarity. Let me know which optimization tool you’ll use and any assumptions you need confirmed before you begin, and we can get this rolling right away.
