My Windows-based VPS is running a busy web application backed by MySQL, and users are starting to complain about slow page loads and the occasional bout of downtime that lasts a few minutes before the service recovers on its own. I need someone who can dig into the stack, pinpoint the bottlenecks, and tune everything for raw speed while eliminating those intermittent outages.

You’ll have full admin access to the server. The current setup is straightforward—one IIS site (with PHP) and a single MySQL instance—but I’m open to adding or replacing components such as caching layers, connection pooling, or performance monitoring tools if they clearly move the needle.

What I expect:
• A brief audit detailing CPU, RAM, disk I/O and network utilisation, plus any obvious configuration red flags.
• Tweaked MySQL and Windows server settings aimed at faster query response and lower latency.
• Web-server tuning (IIS/PHP, or alternative suggestions) to maximise throughput.
• Clear before-and-after metrics: page load time, average query time, and stability logs over a test window.
• A rollback plan in case any change causes unexpected behaviour.

Success looks like sub-second median page loads and zero unexplained downtime across a 72-hour observation period.

If you’ve optimised similar Windows VPS setups and can show concrete results, let’s get started.
