Project Title: Commercial Washroom – Practical 2D Civil Layout & Space Optimization
I am looking for an experienced Civil Engineer / Architect Draftsman to prepare a practical and construction-feasible 2D civil layout for a commercial washroom/toilet block.
3-5 plans are expected.
I will provide the existing/basic layout and available dimensions.
Scope of Work
The main objective is to optimize the available space and accommodate the maximum practical number of washroom facilities in each section, while maintaining proper usability and construction feasibility.
The drawing should include:
- Accurate and practically suitable wall thicknesses
- Male and Female washroom sections
- Maximum practical number of WCs and urinals
- Proper WC cubicle dimensions
- Proper spacing and circulation
- Wash basins where required
- A dedicated Janitor/Cleaning Room
- Practical plumbing/service wall provisions
- Drainage/plumbing feasibility
- Door positions and opening directions
- All important dimensions clearly marked
- Overall length and width of the layout
Layout Flexibility
The existing Male and Female areas do not have to remain in their present positions.
If interchanging or rearranging the Male and Female sections provides a better, more efficient and practically buildable layout, the freelancer is free to propose that arrangement.
The Janitor Room should be retained/provided in a practical location.
Important
I am not looking for a 3D design or rendering at this stage.
A clear 2D layout drawing on paper/PDF is acceptable. AutoCAD is preferred but not mandatory if the final drawing is accurate and clearly dimensioned.
The priority is:
Maximum practical capacity + correct wall sizes + proper circulation + plumbing feasibility + easy construction.
The final layout should be something that can realistically be taken forward for civil construction and plumbing work, not just a theoretical space-fitting plan.

- Wall thicknesses clearly shown
- WC/urinal/basin dimensions
- Janitor Room
- Doors and circulation
- Plumbing/service wall provisions
