Opentext D2 SmartView Customization

I need an Opentext D2 SmartView developer to extend the standard interface, focusing purely on SmartView-side work. The goal is to add two concrete capabilities:

• Custom widgets that plug seamlessly into the existing SmartView framework, following OT’s recommended extension pattern and respecting current branding guidelines.
• An enhanced search experience that goes beyond default facets, providing faster filtering and richer result previews while keeping performance on par with native SmartView search.

You’ll be free to choose the most efficient approach—REST APIs, the SmartView SDK, or other supported hooks—as long as it runs smoothly on D2 25.2 (our current version) and requires no server-side core modifications.

Deliverables must include the deployable code bundles, brief setup instructions, and a short walkthrough video so my internal admins can repeat the deployment in other environments.

I’ll be available for quick clarification sessions and can supply a sandbox with sample data and full admin rights as soon as we agree on the milestones.
