OpenSolar Setup & Design Support

We are looking for an experienced OpenSolar specialist to assist with setting up our design and quoting platform, with the opportunity for ongoing solar and battery design work.

We already have our preferred suppliers and product ranges selected but need someone experienced to help us get the software set up correctly and establish an efficient quoting process.

Initial Project – OpenSolar Setup

We require assistance with:

Setting up our OpenSolar account for residential solar and battery quoting.

Adding our preferred solar panels, inverters and battery systems.

Setting up product pricing, installation costs and additional installation options.

Configuring Australian STCs and applicable rebate calculations.

Setting up professional, branded customer proposal templates.

Configuring solar production estimates, battery storage and customer savings calculations.

Establishing a simple design and quoting workflow for our internal team.

Providing basic training and guidance on using the software.

Ongoing Work Opportunity

Once the initial setup is completed, we may require regular assistance with:

Designing residential solar and battery systems.

Preparing solar panel layouts and system configurations.

Producing customer proposals through OpenSolar.

Reviewing customer electricity bills and recommending suitable systems.

Preparing accurate designs for our internal team to review and approve.

Preferred Experience

We are particularly interested in applicants who have:

Proven experience using OpenSolar.

Experience designing residential solar and battery systems for Australian customers.

Knowledge of Australian STCs, solar rebates and battery incentives.

Familiarity with Australian electrical and solar installation requirements.

Experience with brands such as Sigenergy, AlphaESS, Jinko and AIKO.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.

Experience working remotely for Australian solar installation companies would be highly regarded.
