The project is to take an open-access textbook from concept to publication under a permissive Creative Commons licence. The scope begins with shaping a clear table of contents and chapter outlines, followed by drafting the full narrative, worked examples, illustrations, exercises, and reference sections. Accuracy, pedagogical clarity, and consistent tone are essential throughout.

After the manuscript is complete, the work extends to page design and accessibility: clean, responsive typography, navigable headings, alt-text on every figure, and a hyperlinked table of contents. From a single source file (Markdown, LaTeX, or another tool we agree on) the book must export reliably to press-ready PDF, reflowable ePub, and a print-on-demand file set with correct bleed and trim.

Deliverables
• Structured manuscript with all chapters, end-of-chapter problems, and answer key
• Source files for text, images, and diagrams, clearly organised for future updates
• Styled templates or CSS/TeX files that generate identical page numbers across formats
• Final PDF, ePub, and print-ready files that pass accessibility checkers (e.g., EPUBCheck, PAC 3)
• A brief build guide so the files can be regenerated by any instructor in the future

Acceptance criteria
1. Content free of factual errors, plagiarism, and non-licensed assets
2. Readability score appropriate to the agreed academic level
3. All links, cross-references, and index entries resolve correctly in each format
4. Exported files validate with no critical errors or warnings

Once these items meet the checklist, the project is complete and ready for release on open repositories and print-on-demand platforms.
