Online Sales Data Entry

I need help transferring my online sales records from our internal database into the format my finance team uses for monthly reporting. Every transaction sits in a structured SQL-based system right now; your task is to extract each record, check that all required fields are complete, and key or import the data into the master spreadsheet template I will provide.

Because the information comes exclusively from online sales, you will not be juggling in-store or wholesale figures—just web orders. Most of our traffic flows through Shopify, but I occasionally pull reports from Amazon or eBay as well, so being comfortable with all three platforms is a plus even though the first batch is Shopify-heavy.

Accuracy matters more than speed. I will spot-check line items against the database, so the final file must match the source values exactly, preserve currency formatting, and keep the same SKU codes. Once you finish, send back the completed spreadsheet along with a short log of any anomalies you encountered and how you resolved them.

If you are fluent with Excel (or Google Sheets), familiar with basic SQL queries for data pulls, and have a track record of meticulous data entry, this should be a straightforward assignment.
