Online Marketplace Website & Apps

I’m building an end-to-end online marketplace where people can list, browse, and buy items much like they do on Facebook Marketplace, but with a sharper focus on search by location and drive-time.

Here’s the core experience I need you to create:
• A modern, clean web interface that lets users create accounts, post listings with photos and categorisation, chat with buyers or sellers, and mark items as sold.
• Native apps for both iOS and Android that mirror all website functions and feel completely at home on each platform.
• Powerful search that filters by distance, estimated driving time, price, category, and keywords.
• Geolocation and map views so buyers instantly see how far away items are.
• Secure login (email, social, or phone), profile management, favourites, push notifications, and basic in-app reporting of suspicious listings.

While I have no hard deadline, I’d like steady, milestone-based progress with regular builds I can test. Clean, well-documented code, scalable architecture, and a smooth hand-off are essential. If you’ve delivered similar marketplace projects, especially those involving geolocation or real-time chat, I’d love to hear about your approach when you submit your proposal.
