I need an accurate, detail-oriented freelancer to update inventory numbers for a catalogue of products. All information will be pulled from clearly identified online sources such as supplier portals and manufacturer pages; nothing needs to be transcribed from scanned documents or physical receipts.
You’ll receive:
• A spreadsheet (or direct access to the CMS) listing each SKU and the link to its source page.
• A short video walkthrough that shows the exact cell format and naming conventions.
Your task is to:
1. Open each link, verify the current in-stock quantity, and enter that number in the designated field.
2. Flag any item that shows “out of stock” or conflicting quantities so I can follow up with the supplier.
3. Save and upload the updated file at the end of each batch.
Acceptance criteria:
• 100 % of listed SKUs have a filled, valid inventory number.
• No formatting errors—cells must remain in the original structure.
• A change log is maintained for every edit (spreadsheet “track changes” or a simple comment per row).
If you have experience with Google Sheets or Excel and enjoy meticulous data work, this should be straightforward. Let me know your turnaround time for the first 500 SKUs and any questions you might have.
