We’re looking for a skilled video editor to join us on an ongoing basis, editing professional construction and project-based video content.

We currently handle all of our video editing in-house, but as our volume of content continues to grow, we’re looking to build a long-term relationship with an editor who can become familiar with our style, projects, and workflow.

This is not intended to be a one-off project. We have frequent video work available and want to find someone we can collaborate with consistently over time.

The Work

Most projects involve creating a polished 40–60 second video showcasing construction projects, completed works, manufacturing, or related content.

We will provide the raw footage, which typically includes:

- Sony camera footage shot in S-LOG3
- Drone footage shot in D-Log
- A mixture of standard frame rate and slow-motion footage
- Music or direction where required

You will be responsible for selecting the strongest footage, structuring the edit, colour grading, pacing the video to music, and delivering a professional final video.

Our style is clean, cinematic and professional. We are not looking for excessive transitions, effects, graphics, or typical short-form social media editing.

DaVinci Resolve Preferred

Our internal workflow is entirely within DaVinci Resolve, so editors who also work in DaVinci Resolve will be strongly prioritised.

Ideally, we want to be able to exchange Resolve project files where necessary and maintain a consistent workflow between our internal team and the external editor.

Strong colour grading skills are also important, particularly experience working with S-LOG3 and D-Log footage.

Long-Term Collaboration

An important part of this role is developing the relationship over time.

As you become familiar with our content, you will be able to provide feedback to our videographers about what would improve future edits. For example, you may request more 60fps footage for slow-motion shots and pans, different shot durations, additional establishing shots, or less footage captured at 24fps.

We want an editor who can eventually become part of the production workflow rather than simply receiving footage and returning an edit.

What We’re Looking For

- Strong professional video editing skills
- Experience with cinematic/project-based content
- Excellent sense of pacing and music selection
- Strong colour grading ability
- Experience working with LOG footage
- DaVinci Resolve preferred
- Reliable communication and turnaround times
- Attention to detail
- Interest in an ongoing working relationship

Experience editing construction, architecture, property, automotive, manufacturing, or similar visually driven content would be highly regarded.

Reference Files

Attached to this job are:

- Two examples of our previously completed videos, showing the general standard and style we are looking for
- Raw footage from a new project, so you can see the type and quality of footage you would typically receive

Please review these before submitting your proposal.

When applying, please include examples of your previous work that you believe are most relevant to this style. Please also let us know whether you edit in DaVinci Resolve and briefly describe your experience working with S-LOG3, D-Log, or other LOG footage.

We’re looking for the right editor to work with regularly, so quality, reliability, and fit are more important to us than simply finding the lowest bid.
