Ongoing Financial Accounting Support

This engagement covers the full cycle of financial accounting for my business on a continuous basis. The work centres on accurate preparation, review and maintenance of all three core statements—balance sheet, income statement and cash-flow statement—so that management always has a clear, timely picture of performance and position.

Scope of work
• Record and classify day-to-day transactions in accordance with GAAP
• Reconcile bank, credit-card and key ledger accounts at each period end
• Produce monthly and year-end balance sheet, income statement and cash-flow statement, complete with basic variance comments
• Keep orderly digital files that can flow straight into tax preparation or audits when needed
• Advise on improving chart of accounts or workflow if something looks off

Deliverables (recurring)
1. Monthly balance sheet (PDF + source file)
2. Monthly income statement (PDF + source file)
3. Monthly cash-flow statement (direct and/or indirect method as agreed)
4. Reconciliation reports and working papers

Cloud bookkeeping tools such as QuickBooks Online, Xero or an Excel-based system can be used—whichever you are most comfortable with. File sharing will run through Google Drive or a similar secure platform.
