Freelance AutoCAD Draughtsperson – Ongoing Industrial Electrical Projects

We're an industrial electrical contractor looking for a reliable AutoCAD draughtsperson to become our long-term drafting partner across all future projects — not a one-off job, but someone we can build a lasting working relationship with.

At the start of each project, you'll receive a base CAD drawing from the client. From there, you will:

Build and maintain clear, disciplined layers for lighting, cable containment, and electrical control panels. Keep drawings fully coordinated as the design evolves and construction progresses
Fold in red-lined PDFs or site sketches — sent monthly, or whenever a route or mounting position changes — updating the master DWG, layouts, and schedules accordingly.
Turn around fresh DWG and PDF sets within 2–3 days, so our site teams are never working from stale information, flag any clashes or missing data immediately, we'd rather answer a quick question than re-route cable trays later

At practical completion, you'll put together a clean as-built package: all revised DWGs, a consolidated PDF for the client, and a simple revision log showing what changed and when.

Everything must be produced and delivered in native AutoCAD — our internal standards and our clients aren't set up for Revit or SolidWorks.
