I’m looking for a reliable local technician who can act as the hands-and-eyes extension of our remote IT team whenever a workstation issue crops up. The core of the role is simple: be on site, follow the real-time guidance of our engineers, and help us troubleshoot whatever is affecting the user’s desktop or laptop.

Typical calls may involve tracing connectivity problems, reseating or replacing components, checking cabling, or running through software prompts that our remote tools can’t reach because the machine is unresponsive. While the immediate need centers on workstation troubleshooting, a bit of flexibility is appreciated—occasionally we might ask you to press the power button on a switch or confirm a status light on nearby gear if you’re already there.

Deliverables on each dispatch
• Arrive on time at the specified location.
• Remain connected to our engineer via phone or video until the issue is resolved.
• Provide clear notes (serial numbers replaced, steps taken, final outcome) before leaving site.
