On-Site UX Audit for Scietific project ELI-Beamlines

I need an experienced UX researcher to spend time at our scientific institution and observe how real users interact with our in-house desktop applications. The primary goal is to identify usability issues that slow our researchers down or cause errors. Prepare some manual or even create new GUIs that would solve the issues.

What you will do
• Plan and run , on-site user sessions with different staff groups.
• Summarise findings in a clear report that lists each problem, its impact, and suggested fixes ranked by severity.
• Walk our development team through the report so they can act on the insights.

Environment & scope
• All testing happens on location; remote work is not possible because of data-security rules.
• The focus is solely on our desktop applications (no mobile or web components).

What to highlight in your proposal
Please emphasise your relevant experience with usability audits, especially in research, scientific, or similarly specialised environments. Sample reports or brief case studies are welcome.
