On-Site Power Cabling ECAD Design

I need a skilled ECAD designer who can work inside our facility to create complete, pin-to-pin cabling diagrams for a new power-electronics system. There is no legacy layout to reference; you will be starting entirely from scratch while the hardware is on the bench in front of you.

AutoCAD Electrical is our preferred tool because it integrates smoothly with our document control flow, but if you are faster in another electronic CAD package and can still meet our file-format needs, I’m open to it. All work must remain on site—drawings, notes, photos, even reference files—and you’ll have secure workstation access for the duration of the project.

You’ll receive direct access to the equipment along with our internal cabling conventions and company-specific guidelines that govern wire colours, terminal numbering, and layer naming. There are no external standards to worry about; simply follow ours consistently.

Deliverables (to be completed on site and left on our server before sign-off):
• Fully annotated schematic sheets showing every pin-to-pin connection
• Clearly labelled wire lists and terminal tables ready for production
• Native project files plus exported PDFs for quick review

Acceptance criteria:
• Every connection tested against live hardware with me present
• Layer, tag and colour codes match the guideline sheet we provide
• No project data leaves the building in any form
