We operate a fully–automated share-market desk from our office built in our residence in Sunder Vihar, West Delhi, and we need a systems-minded engineer beside the servers every trading day from 8:45 AM to 3:45 PM. The role revolves around keeping multiple Python algos, broker APIs and twin infrastructures (local rack + AWS EC2) running smoothly through the entire Indian market session.
Each morning begins with launching and verifying every Python script, confirming token validity across all connected broker platforms, and checking that our cloud mirror is in sync so the secondary environment can take over at a moment’s notice. During live hours you will watch order flow, positions, P&L and latency, jump on API disconnections, restart any failed program, and document the steps taken so the recovery path is always clear.
Experience that matters most:
• hands-on Python work with broker APIs
• practical AWS and bare-metal server administration
• time spent in an actual trading environment where a mis-priced fill or silent algo can cost real money
Typical daily deliverables:
• All algos green-checked before the opening bell
• Continuous monitoring dashboards running locally and in AWS
• Immediate recovery plus detailed log whenever a script or connection fails
• End-of-day backups of code, logs and execution reports
Writing new strategies is outside the scope; however, testing any modifications or fresh algos before they go live is very much in scope. Emergency stop procedures, redundant power and a fail-over EC2 instance are already in place—you will keep them sharp and refine them whenever you spot an edge.
On-site, full-time, Monday to Friday. Let’s keep the bots trading and the risk contained.
