On-Set Audio Recording Support

I’m gearing up for a shoot and need an extra set of skilled hands dedicated exclusively to sound recording. We’ll be working on-set, so you’ll be right alongside the camera crew capturing clean dialogue and natural ambience while everything else is moving fast around us.

Your day will revolve around three key pieces of gear: microphones (lavalier and shotgun), an audio mixer, and a boom pole. I’ll rely on you to:

• Set up and test each mic quickly before we roll
• Ride levels on the mixer during takes to avoid clipping or hiss
• Operate the boom smoothly, keeping it out of frame yet close enough for crisp audio
• Label and hand over well-organized WAV files at wrap

If you’re comfortable troubleshooting cable runs, RF interference, or sudden environmental noise, that’s a huge plus. Bring your own headphones; I’ll supply the rest of the kit unless you prefer your own trusted tools.
