On-Demand Workforce Marketplace MVP

I’m building
, a mobile-first marketplace that matches employers with blue-collar workers in real time. The goal of this first phase is a fully functional MVP—usable in the field, not just a clickable prototype.

Scope
• Two client-facing apps for both iOS and Android.
• Web-based admin dashboard for workforce, payment, and content management.

Core workflow
Employers post jobs or shifts, set rates, and see a live pool of available workers. Workers toggle availability, receive instant offers based on location, clock in via the app, and get paid once an employer confirms attendance. When a worker is a no-show, the system should trigger an automatic replacement request so managers never scramble for staff.

Essential features to build into the MVP
– Account creation with email-and-password plus phone number verification (OTP).
– Worker vetting: government-issued ID upload and certification document capture, routed to admin for approval.
– Real-time geo-location, in-app navigation to job sites, and background location pinging for attendance confirmation.
– Ratings and reviews on both sides once a shift closes.
– Secure wallet: in-app earnings for workers, payment releases for employers, and transaction history on the admin side.
– Push notifications and SMS alerts for new jobs, shift updates, and payment events.
– Comprehensive admin panel: user management, dispute handling, fraud flags, analytics, and CSV export.

Deliverables
1. Production-ready codebase for:
• Worker mobile app (iOS + Android)
• Employer mobile app (iOS + Android)
• Admin web dashboard
2. Deployed MVP on my cloud account (AWS, GCP, or similar)
3. API and database documentation
4. Short hand-off video walkthrough plus two weeks of post-launch bug support

Acceptance criteria
• A new employer should be able to create an account, post a shift, fund it, and see it picked up by a verified worker—all inside a test environment.
• Location, attendance, and payment flows must work end to end without manual intervention.
• Admin must be able to approve or reject ID and certification submissions and see the status propagate to the mobile apps.
