Oil Landscape Painting Commission - 23/08/2026 16:28 EDT

I would like to commission a traditional oil painting that captures a serene landscape. Think classic plein-air style: rich, layered brushwork with natural light and depth rather than graphic or digital treatments.

My brief is deliberately open because I want to see your creative interpretation. Once we agree on a reference sketch, please move to the final canvas. At the end I’ll need:

• The finished, dry, safely packed canvas shipped to me
• A high-resolution, well-lit photograph of the work for my records

Any standard canvas size up to about 24" × 36" is fine; if you prefer a different dimension, just let me know before starting so I can sort framing. I’ll cover shipping separately.

Timing is flexible but I’d like to approve a preliminary composition within a week of award. If you have examples of previous oil landscapes, send over a link or image so I can gauge style compatibility.
