I have six separate parcels in Muskingum County, Ohio and I need their full chain-of-title reconstructed. I’m looking for more than a quick ownership check: every recorded deed, transfer, lien release, easement or other conveyance that touches these properties should be identified, starting with the earliest document on file and running right up to today.
Your research will have to rely on the Muskingum County Recorder’s archives (online portals, in-office indexes or microfilm—whatever is required to reach the oldest book). Once located, I need clear digital copies of each instrument along with a concise, chronologically ordered summary of who conveyed to whom, the dates, instrument numbers and book/page references. If a gap appears in the timeline, note it so I can follow up.
Deliverables
• PDF (or high-resolution image) of every deed and related instrument you locate
• A single spreadsheet or Word table that lists: recording date, grantor, grantee, instrument type, volume/page or document number, and a short notation of any restrictions or easements mentioned
• Brief methodology note so I understand the sources you pulled and any records you could not access remotely
Accuracy matters more than speed, but let me know your estimated turnaround and whether any courthouse visits or certified copies might add time. If you’ve handled Ohio title work before, please mention it so I can kick things off right away.
