Offline Windows POS System Development

I need a veteran desktop-software developer to build a full-featured, non-cloud POS application that runs reliably on Windows machines installed at my outlets. The system has to handle every daily operation from a single codebase:

• Sales counter POS with quick item search, discounts and receipt printing
• Integrated KOT flow for the kitchen, fired automatically from the billing screen
• Central stock point where I can receive purchases, record stock entries and push transfers to individual outlets or kitchens
• Multi-branch stock transfers with automatic quantity reconciliation
• User management with configurable roles and granular permissions so cashiers, managers and admins each see exactly what they should
• Basic accounting layer—day-close reports, tax breakup, cash/credit split and export to Excel or Tally

All data must stay local; no cloud sync or subscription services. A clean, intuitive interface is important because different staff levels will rely on it daily.

Deliverables
1. Executable installer for Windows 10/11 (64-bit)
2. Source code with build instructions
3. Schema for the local database (SQLite or your suggested alternative)
4. Brief user manual and video walk-through
5. Two weeks of post-deployment bug fixing

Acceptance will be based on smooth installation, accurate stock movement between locations, flawless KOT ticketing and correct role-based access. If you have completed similar on-premise POS projects, I’d love to see a demo.
