Office 365 to Gmail Migration

I currently have a single-user Office 365 mailbox and I’m moving to Google’s email platform primarily to cut my monthly costs. I’ve already decided that only my recent messages need to come across, so the job is much smaller than a full archive transfer.

Here’s what I need you to handle from start to finish:
• Create or configure my Google account so it’s ready for mail.
• Migrate the recent emails from Office 365, keeping folder structure and read/unread status intact.
• Switch the domain’s MX records (if required) and confirm mail is flowing into Google with zero downtime.
• Run final checks so I can log in, send, and receive without issues, then give me a short hand-off note explaining anything I should know for future reference.

If you’ve done single-mailbox transfers before using tools such as Google Workspace Migration, IMAP, or any other trusted utility, this will be quick work. I’m looking for a clean migration and a smooth cut-over—no surprises, no lingering data on Office 365 once we’re finished.
