I have a scanned PDF that must be turned into an editable Word (.docx) file. Because the source is a true scan, accurate OCR is essential; the final document should contain selectable, editable text throughout, not embedded images of text.

Only simple paragraph-level formatting is needed—basic headings, clear paragraph breaks, and any obvious bold or italics that appear in the original. No need to replicate complex layouts, columns, or decorative elements.

Please work with whichever OCR tools you trust (Adobe Acrobat, ABBYY FineReader, or a comparable solution) so long as the Word file you return:

• reproduces all text accurately
• keeps images in roughly the same position where they appear now
• follows the simple formatting guideline above

I will supply the PDF as soon as we start and will review the .docx you deliver for accuracy before approving.
