Node.js Backend for FitTech Platform

I’m building an ambitious FitTech platform and need a developer who can own the entire server-side stack. The project’s focus is squarely on backend development, and I’ve settled on Node.js as the core framework.

Your job is to architect and implement a clean, scalable API that will power both web and mobile experiences. You’ll decide on the most suitable database strategy, set up authentication and session handling in a secure way, and write modular code that makes future feature additions friction-free. Real-time performance and smooth integration with wearables or third-party fitness services are important goals, so please be comfortable designing for high concurrency and low latency. Automated testing, clear documentation, and Docker-friendly deployment pipelines are expected as standard practice.

Deliverables
• Production-ready Node.js codebase with REST or GraphQL endpoints
• Database schema and migration scripts
• Test suite and setup instructions
• Deployment configuration (e.g., Dockerfile, CI/CD workflow)
