I need a New Mexico-licensed professional engineer to create sealed structural drawings for a freestanding wood-framed gazebo/dormer that will hover above an existing roof with an air-gap—no gravity load will bear on the lower roof except for one intentional 10" × 10" wood post that must pass through the roof and carry a ridgebeam that will seat into two structural trusses.

Key geometry
• Roof width: 18 ft
• Cantilever from eave: 12 ft
• Return to tie-in ridge: 16 ft
• Design roof snow load: 80–100 psf
• Pier footing frost depth: 42 in

Wood framing (posts, ridge beam, rafters, bracing) will transfer to concrete pier footings; your drawings should show the full load path, lateral bracing, uplift resistance, and the exact detailing for the roof penetration and post saddle. No calculation package is required—just the sealed drawings themselves—but accuracy must allow the local building department to approve without back-and-forth.

Deliverables
1. PE-stamped structural drawings (plan, elevations, sections, connection details, footing schedule).
2. File formats: native CAD (DWG or similar) plus PDF ready for submission.

Please base the design on current IBC/NM amendments and specify any proprietary connectors you rely on.

One truss as externally visible from the open dormer end will be an uncovered and more visually appealing king truss or as pictured and the other truss will have a fascia covering applied.
