I'm the founder of NILQuant, an independent record for NIL deals in college athletics. We're looking for a qualified, independent reviewer for a scoped technical review of our core verification engine before its first production release.
Scope (summary; full scope attached):
- Rebuild our PostgreSQL database from its migration files on your own machine and repeat our test suite and reproduction kit
- Check append-only history, two-person release controls, fingerprinting (SHA-256), school-to-school data isolation and a scoped verification API
- Test the hosted demo with six test accounts (no admin access) and try to break the controls
- Confirm our outside timestamping and write-once storage settings
- Written findings, one retest round and a signed scoped conclusion
All data is fictional. Estimated effort: about 27 hours. The stack is PostgreSQL on Supabase, TypeScript and Node 22.
What we need from you:
1. Relevant experience (PostgreSQL row-level security, application security or audit work)
2. Your rate (fixed or hourly) and earliest start date
3. Confirmation that you have no ties to NIL organizations, college athletics vendors or likely acquirers
The fee cannot depend on the result. Before any access, you would sign our NDA and a short conflict-of-interest declaration.
If this fits, a reply with the three points above is all I need to start.
