Find & Build an Unusual Digital Product Business
I am looking for a freelancer, entrepreneur, developer, researcher, or small team who can help me discover and potentially build a small online business with strong cash-flow potential.
I am intentionally not giving you a specific business idea.
Instead, I want you to bring me ideas based on problems, industries, products, or opportunities you have discovered through your own experience.
I am looking for something that can start small, generate revenue relatively quickly, and potentially grow into a digital asset that can operate with a high level of automation.
What I am looking for
I am interested in products such as:
* Specialized digital products
* Niche tools or calculators
* Generators
* Databases or information products
* Industry-specific resources
* Templates or document systems
* Research products
* Automated digital products
* Small websites/tools solving one painful problem
* Products serving overlooked industries or professions
* Products that turn a complicated process into something simple
* Other unusual online businesses you believe have real potential
The industry is completely open.
It can be B2B or B2C, and it does not have to be related to technology.
I am particularly interested in boring, overlooked problems where customers already spend money, time, or manpower trying to solve the problem.
What I do NOT want
Please do not send generic proposals for:
* SaaS
* AI chatbots
* AI agents
* AI automation agencies
* Digital marketing agencies
* Generic websites
* Generic mobile apps
* Dropshipping
* Affiliate sites
* Lead-generation agencies
* Freelance services
* Generic “AI business ideas”
AI can be part of the solution, but “we will use AI” is not a business model.
I don’t want to create another service business where I personally have to work for every customer.
The goal is to create something that can be sold repeatedly with low marginal cost and eventually delivered automatically.
What I want from you
I want you to propose 1–3 opportunities that you genuinely believe are worth investigating.
For each opportunity, explain:
1. The problem
What problem exists and who experiences it?
2. The customer
Who would actually pay for a solution?
3. Current solution
How do people solve this problem today?
4. Your product idea
What exactly would we sell?
5. Why people would pay
What makes this problem valuable enough to spend money on?
6. Evidence
Why do you believe this opportunity is real? If you have worked in the industry, built something similar, or know people who pay for this problem, explain it.
7. Competition
Who already provides something similar and what could we do differently?
8. Customer acquisition
How could we realistically get the first 10–100 customers? For example: Google, marketplaces, Reddit, industry communities, partnerships, advertising, social media, directories, etc.
9. Pricing
What do you think we could charge and why?
10. MVP
What is the smallest version we could build and launch to test whether people will pay?
11. Development
How much would you charge to build the first version and how long would it take?
12. Automation
How much of the business could eventually be automated — payment, delivery, generation, onboarding, customer communication, etc.?
I value real experience
I am much more interested in real observations than generic internet business ideas.
For example, if you previously worked with construction companies and discovered that they all struggle with a specific document/process, tell me.
If you built an internal tool for a client and think it could become a standalone product, tell me.
If you know a niche industry where companies are paying thousands for an inefficient process that could be simplified into a €50–€500 digital product, tell me.
If you have an idea you wanted to build yourself but never had the opportunity, I want to hear about it.
You do not need to have already built the exact product.
Budget
I don’t want to decide the budget before understanding the opportunity.
Please provide realistic estimates for:
* Research/validation
* MVP development
* Additional development if required
* Monthly/ongoing costs
* Any APIs, software, hosting, or third-party costs
I prefer to start with a small MVP, validate demand, and only then invest more.
What makes a strong proposal
A strong proposal will have:
* A specific problem
* A clearly defined customer
* Evidence of demand
* A simple product
* A realistic way to find customers
* Good margins
* Low ongoing operational work
* Potential for automation
* A reasonable MVP cost
* Potential to expand after the initial product works
It does not need to be the next billion-dollar startup.
I would rather build a relatively boring product that can realistically make €2,000–€10,000+ per month than chase a fashionable idea that requires millions in funding.
Important
Please don’t start your proposal with a generic introduction about how many years you have been developing websites.
Start with your best business opportunity.
I am hiring someone who can potentially bring me a business opportunity and then help me build it, not simply someone who can write code.
If your idea is genuinely interesting, I am open to discussing the project, validating it together, and potentially continuing with you for the build and future development.
