I run an online simulation hockey league that uses NHL 25 and I’m ready to give the community a proper home. The project is two-fold: a modern league website plus an interactive player portal where every user can see—and influence—their skater’s journey.

Core site goals
• Public-facing pages for schedules, standings, game recaps, and league news.
• A secure portal that lets each registered coach log in, review detailed game-by-game stats pulled from our NHL 25 sim files, track long-term progression, and update profile items such as headshot, jersey number, or biography.

Player-portal must-haves
1. View player stats – season, playoff, and career splits updated automatically from exported data.
2. Track player progress – graphical charts that highlight attribute growth, milestones, and awards.
3. Manage player profiles – editable fields (with admin approval) so users can personalise their page.

I’m flexible on the underlying stack; you can propose WordPress with custom plugins, a headless CMS, or a fully custom React/Node build—whichever delivers fast load times, clean UI, and secure authentication.

Deliverables
• Responsive website design (desktop & mobile).
• Fully functional portal with the three features above.
• Admin dashboard for roster moves, attribute edits, and content publishing.
• Documentation on how to upload NHL 25 stats files and trigger database updates.
• Post-launch support window to squash any launch-week bugs.

If you’ve built sports or gaming portals before, please tell me what tech you’d use and share a link or two. Looking forward to seeing how you can take our league to the next level.
