Unfiltered Lokshahhi – Fast News Content Team

I am launching a new digital news/media channel called Unfiltered Lokshahhi and I am looking to build a small team of independent freelancers, rather than hiring one person to handle everything.

Because this is a news channel, speed is extremely important. I cannot wait several days for a news story to be edited and delivered. I want to create a system where multiple freelancers can work independently and take up news assignments according to their availability.

Starting Budget – ₹500 Per News Story

As I am starting the channel, my current budget is limited.

My starting budget is ₹500 per completed news content package.

One news package will include:

1. 3-slide social media news post

- Instagram
- Facebook
- Branded Unfiltered Lokshahhi design
- Catchy headline + concise news content

2. 1 vertical short video

- YouTube Shorts
- Instagram Reel
- Same core video can be adapted for both platforms

3. 1 horizontal YouTube video

- Standard YouTube format
- News-focused presentation
- Suitable text, images/video clips and branding

The objective is to take one news story and quickly turn it into content for multiple platforms.

SPEED IS VERY IMPORTANT

This is the most important part of the project.

News cannot wait for days.

When I provide a news story, I want the assigned freelancer to start working on it and deliver the content as quickly as reasonably possible.

I am looking for freelancers who can handle same-day/rapid-turnaround news content, depending on the urgency of the story.

The exact turnaround time can be mutually agreed upon, but applicants should understand that this is news-media work, not a normal design project where delivery can take several days.

I WANT MULTIPLE INDEPENDENT FREELANCERS

I do not want to depend on one person or one agency/team.

I want to build a pool of multiple independent freelancers.

For example:

- Freelancer A – available in the morning
- Freelancer B – available in the afternoon
- Freelancer C – available in the evening
- Freelancer D – available for urgent/breaking news
- Freelancer E – additional backup

When a news story comes in, I can assign it to whoever is available.

This will allow Unfiltered Lokshahhi to operate continuously without depending on a single editor.
IMPORTANT – EVERYONE MUST FOLLOW THE SAME BRANDING

Although I want multiple independent freelancers, the final page should look like it is produced by one professional media organization.

Therefore, I want all selected freelancers to work using the same applications, templates, fonts, branding elements and design language.

I will maintain a central collection of:

- Unfiltered Lokshahhi logo
- Fonts
- Brand elements
- 3-slide templates
- Reel/Short templates
- YouTube templates
- Intro/outro elements
- Thumbnail templates
- Other reusable design assets

The freelancers will be expected to use and update the approved templates rather than creating a completely different design every time.

SHARED TEMPLATES & WORKFLOW

I want to establish a shared workflow where freelancers can work on the same template system.

For example:

News received → Content prepared → Assigned to available freelancer → Freelancer edits using approved template → Final quality check → Published

If Freelancer A creates an improvement to a template, that template can be shared with Freelancer B, C and D.

This means that everyone gradually works from the same design system, even though they are independent freelancers.

The initial focus will be:

- Instagram
- YouTube
- YouTube Shorts
- Facebook

Later, I plan to expand the content operation and introduce more advanced graphics, photographs, motion graphics, voiceovers and professional video production.

THIS IS A LONG-TERM PROJECT

I am not looking for someone for just one or two assignments.

I want to build a reliable pool of freelancers who can receive regular work whenever they are available.

The channel is new, so the initial budget is tight. However, my intention is to gradually increase:

- Number of news stories
- Content quality
- Production value
- Work volume
- Freelancer compensation
- Number of people in the creative team

The people who join at the beginning and help establish the system can potentially receive regular long-term work as the channel grows.
