New York Local Counsel Needed

I have outside counsel licensed in another state ready to lead a forthcoming consumer-related breach of contract action, but we need a New York–admitted attorney to serve as local counsel. Your role will be to:

• Sponsor my lead counsel’s pro hac vice admission and sign all filings as local counsel of record.
• Review every pleading, motion, and exhibit for full compliance with New York practice rules and any individual judge’s procedures before it is filed.
• File documents electronically through NYSCEF (or the appropriate federal ECF system, should venue shift) and promptly circulate stamped copies.
• Handle on-the-ground court appearances—especially settlement conferences and, if the matter proceeds that far, trial—while coordinating closely with lead counsel beforehand.

All substantive drafting, research, and strategy remain with lead counsel; I only need your local knowledge, signature, and courtroom presence. If you are available, please outline:

1. Your fee structure for sponsorship, per-filing review/ECF submission, and in-person appearances.
2. Any conflict checks you will require before engagement.
3. Your typical turnaround time for document review and filing.
